Joven fue al médico por cansancio y le diagnosticaron que moriría en pocos días

La mujer pensó que su fatiga se debía al estrés y al "envejecimiento", pero los médicos le dieron una desconcertante noticia. El hecho ocurrió en Florida, EE.UU.

Cristina Ferrara, una joven de 30 años, acudió al médico porque se sentía "cansada" y los doctores le dijeron que le quedaban pocos días de vida. El hecho ocurrio en Tampa, Floriday ha causado gran impacto en Estados Unidos.

La joven al inicio pensó que todo se debía al estrés o al "envejecimiento" y hasta restó importancia a unos extraños síntomas. Uno de estos era que le "sangraban las encías", pero ella culpó a su cepillo de dientes. También, relató a Caters News que su orina se había tornado "más oscura", aunque imaginó que era por beber poco líquido.

No obstante, los doctores le dijeron que su hígado no funcionaba bien y le diagnosticaron ictericia, dolencia que se manifiesta al tornarse la piel amarilla e indica un aumento de la bilirrubina en la sangre, como resultado de ciertos trastornos hepáticos.

Because I have most certainly earned them all The road has not always been easy but my new liver is lovinggggg life. Dan tells me of course it does; how I saved its life too!!! But it hasn't all been puppies and candy canes. My immune system is pretty much non existent so when I get sick…I get illllllllll But I pull through. My medicines have side effects that I will encounter over the years…but I'm a fighter. But I'm lucky to not have any extenuating circumstances as of right now. I'm happy to report I'm doing extremely well on the liver level. For now but hopefully forever too!!! It's been amazing being alive this past year!!! I've had the chance to make so many more beautiful memories with my family & friends. Its awesome being alive guys!!!! Not a day goes by I don't thank God for bringing me back to torture this world….And thank my donors family! I love everyone at TGH for caring for my family & myself! Al estar hospitalizada, los síntomas de Ferrara se intensificaron, pero los galenos optaron por inducirla al coma. Después, la joven fue anotada en la lista de transplantes de hígado de Florida, en donde llegó a ocupar el primer puesto debido a la gravedad de su estado.

Tras rechazar tres hígados, el cuarto encajó perfectamente con la paciente. Por fortuna su recuperación fue rápida. Sin embargo, pasó un año y aún no sabe qué le produjo la insuficiencia hepática.

Well truth is we can't now..ever since my transplant I was warned that my anti-rejection medications are KNOWN TO CAUSE BIRTH DEFECTS!! I could never to that to my baby! Even besides worrying ablout carrying to term, or even having my immune system attack me and the baby. However Daniel will be a truly amazing father…when we adopted one day. We will give a less fortunate child an absolutely wonderful home trust me!!! Hoy, la joven alienta a las personas a registrarse como donantes de órganos, pues recuerda que si su donante no hubiera elegido donar sus órganos, hubiera fallecido. "Necesitaba un hígado específico, y la persona que se registró fue mi ángel guardián", dijo.
