Este domingo se celebraron los SAG Awards 2021, en una entrega remota y virtual, como últimamente se están realizando este tipo de eventos. Uno de los eventos más importantes de la noche involucró al fallecido Chadwick Boseman, quien ganó una estatuilla como Mejor Actor de Drama por su conmovedor papel en la película “La madre del blues”, hecha pocos meses antes de fallecer de cáncer a los 43 años.
Su esposa, Taylor Simone Ledward, fue la responsable de aceptar el premio póstumo de manera virtual y de brindar un emotivo discurso en memoria del actor: “Un legado que sigue vivo en nuestros corazones y en nuestras pantallas. Cabe recalcar que Boseman se convirtió en el Mejor actor de Drama al derrotar a Riz Ahmed (“El Sonido del Metal”), Anthony Hopkins (“El Padre”), Gary Oldman (“Mank”) y Steven Yeun (”Minari”).
